Dear Modest Needs Donors, Our 7 year old son has an abnormality of the enamel on his teeth which has caused many problems. No one else in our family of 5 has this problem. Due to his young age, the dentist would like to do one major dental surgery to fix everything at once instead of several small surgeries over time so that he won't be traumatized. My son is in some minor pain that will only increase as time goes by. We have dental insurance, but they won't do the surgery until we pay our share of the bill, which is a large amount that we do not have. Please help us.
My husband and I have both worked full time jobs since the age of 16. At this time I work a full time salaried job that requires much overtime. My husband works one full time job, and a second half time job. We are Christians and believe that God uses our every act of kindness to impact the world in a positive way. We have always done our best to help others in need; whether by giving of our time, talents, possessions, or finances. We will continue to demonstrate God's love to others in this way for the remainder of our lives.
We have never asked for any type of assistance for anything like this before. For example; when one of our cars breaks down and we have no funds to fix it, we share our second car until we can save up the money for the needed repairs. But this need concerns our precious son.
