First of all, thank you for reading my request. I have never had to ask for financial help from anyone before and I am not proud that I have to now. I don't know what else to do at this point. I am a single mother of one child who I am very proud of and love dearly.

In June 2009, I became very sick and my doctor put me in the hospital. I have been to many doctors and they still have not figured out exactly what is causing my illness. I work full time with children who are at risk of being removed from their homes.

I had to miss the entire month of June due to the hospital stay and physically not being able to work. The copayments and medication expenses have drained every penny that I have and they continue to do so. My medical insurance is horrible and I have to pay for some medications completely out of pocket. There have been many times that I just have to go without the medications because I have to buy food and try to keep a roof over my child's head.

I desperately need help with making my car payment. I do not have the money and will not have it anytime in the near future. I have to have transportation for my job, not only to get there and back, but I travel almost every day to see children and their families and I cover several counties. Therefore, it is so important that I do not lose my car. If so then I would also lose my job.

I apologize for the length of this, but I honestly need help. I have worked all of my life sometimes holding down two jobs. My son seems to be losing all faith in mankind and my illness has taken a toll on him as well as myself. Please help not only me but also my son by helping pay for one car payment. This would mean more than you would ever know.

I try to be strong every day and force a smile on my face in front of my son and my coworkers, but as I am writing this I have tears in my eyes. Your kindness and generosity would be appreciated so much.
