In the past several months I have had several car repairs done and I am so relieved my car is finally safe again and working without issue but I had to take away from my electric bill to do this. The electric company is about to shut off my service but I was granted a temporary 'hold' for now.

I am on SSI and have an extremely fixed come from that. I can pay my regular monthly electric bill but the 'past due' amount is more than I am able to pay. Any help I receive would be more than appreciated, as I don't know how I would pay this bill otherwise without your generosities.

I just found out my request for help was fully funded today! Thank you to all of you who have helped me!! A HUGE Thank you! My parents always taught me to have a buffer of savings in the bank for emergencies. I usually do but this time, I didn't. I had to live off that buffer when I was on unemployment. Then to have 3 car repairs at once but no money to pay them was too much. I had to use the rest of my buffer and then some, to cover those repairs. Saying THANK YOU just doesn't seem like enough!
