I am a part time school bus driver with two kids. When the kids are off ,I don't get paid. I returned back to work in September 6, 2009. Four days later, I lost my dad to cancer, which caused me to take time off for his burial. My rent wasn't up to date then due to the income I was receiving.

When I received my taxes, I paid my rent, which I thought settled the unpaid back rent, only to find out later that I still owed more. I pay as much as I can when I get paid if I don't have other bills to pay, like car insurance or phone bills, but its never enough to satisfy the full balance so my rent could be current.

Meanwhile as time passes another month is added on along with late fees. I am doing the best I can, but it is really hard being a single parent, especially not receiving child support. It causes me to be stressed and have restless nights trying to figure out where or how can I get the money. I don't want to become homeless with two kids.

I need a helping hand so that I could get back on my feet. I am trying hard, but don't make enough to pay the full balance June rent approaches. Your help will be gladly appreciated.
