The figure above includes the cost of fulfillment.

I am a 28-year-old young woman who has completed 56 credit hours of college and currently enrolled in 18 more credit hours. If I am able to continue on in college education I will receive my Associates Degree in Business Management by the summer of 2011.

My GPA is 3.62, and my goal is to eventually go into the human resources field. I was informed in June that the Pell grant that I received last year was taken away from my financial aid and I now must pay the school back my entire Pell grant if I want to register in the fall, obtain my grades, transcripts and this outstanding balance will prevent me from graduating.

I was laid off from work in March of 2009, I was a bill collector. I signed up with a program called WIA and they helped me get into school. Since last October, (they took several months to process my application or I would of started as soon as I was eligible) I have been enrolled at Gwinnett Technical College and I have been taking a minimum of 18 credits per quarter.

The school says I have to pay them or I will face the consequences I explained above. Now that my unemployment has ended and I have no income the financial aid office will not make a payment arrangement with me. I am unable to find a full time employer or even a part-time job, so I am stepping out on faith to see if anyone can understand the position I am in, and will help me so I can get my Associates degree.

I am asking for help with my electric bill because I am unable to pay it this month due to the financial situation I am in with my schooling. Any help you can provide is truly appreciated.
