We are a two-person household who went from two incomes to one, and unemployment has recently run out for one of us. We have had car trouble, and have managed, with our savings and the help of our family, to scrape together the money needed to make the repairs, but now we are in a situation where we cannot make our rent payment for this month. We usually are more prepared for situations such as these, however, my husband spent six months on disability, and while he is now back to work, it has taken a financial toll on our household.

Now that our vehicle is repaired, we are able to pay our monthly bills, except this month we don't have enough to pay the rent due to the car repairs needed last month. We would greatly appreciate the help, and know that this money will help us to not get further behind. If we are funded, it means that we will not have to skip other bills and get further and further behind. It's a real help to keep us above water. Thank you so much for your consideration, we greatly appreciate you taking the time to consider our application.
