Over the past two years, my husband has lost his trucking company and my medication resistant major depression caused me to leave my $43,000/year job and become disabled. My husband had to come off the road as a truck driver due to my illness and take care of me.

I have multiple medical bills for my treatment over the past two years which we just cannot pay due to our significant loss of income. My husband was laid off three times during 2009. We have been trying to get a mortgage loan modification for sixteen months now with our lender to no avail as of today. If we do not get our interest rate and payment lowered, we will be losing our home in the next few months.

My husband makes barely enough money for our mortgage payment, my medicine, and groceries. I see no way out at this point. My phone rings at least twenty times a day from bill collectors. All my medical bills have been turned over to a collection agency.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. This particular bill is one of my doctors that I may need to use again in the near future for ECT treatments. Thank you for even considering my request and God bless you all.
